Our Founders
(the late) Rev. Dr. Chelliah & Christobel Russelliah
Like the Israelites leaving Egypt, GGM’s 50+ year passage had struggles in every direction. As we planted our 1st church, my husband, Russelliah, and I mixed cement, poured the foundation and cooked for workers. It was just two of us as we heard God’s call to preach Christ to those with no Christian witness. We did not have resources for even one month ahead yet God provided daily manna as He expanded the ministry in every direction. It has been completely a faith walk trusting God for every provision. My husband passed into glory in 2009; now my children and I follow the vision. I retired in 2020 and my son-in-law, Rev. Sunil Singh, and my daughter, Thehil Russelliah Singh, lead the ministry with my daughter Thephil Russelliah Roby on the U.S. Board of Directors. GGM started with nothing but God has multiplied the ministry in more ways than one. With each need, God called someone to buy land, construct buildings, teach students and raise children.
We wait upon the Lord and the calling of partners to expand God's kingdom in India.
Christobel K. Russelliah, President Emerita
