Our children are truly blessed having escaped lives of poverty, abuse, and despair. Raised in a Christ-centered home with loving houseparents, they grow in the love and hope found in Jesus. Christobel Russelliah, Founder, and her family live at the Home on the weekends so the children know they are loved. They flourish and grow to be good citizens and fellow believers. But this is only half of the story of The Children's Home.
The rest of the story is made possible through the love of Jesus Christ by small group of people a world away...our Sponsors. Gilgal Gospel Mission is a small organization where every $1 is desparately needed. There is no big trust fund, no reserve account, just the faithfulness of our Lord through our Sponsors. It is a true partnership...we make sure the kids get educated, eat nourishing meals, and stay healthy, but this is possible only because of you provide the financial resources to care for a family of 30. Truly, we can't do it without you. Though a world away, these children are safe, fed, and blessed because of you. What a blessing for our Sponsors to know that each month they make a real and significant difference in the lives of less fortunate children.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Basic Needs Sponsor: For $30 each month, you'll provide food shelter, and clothing for a child. Life's essentials, that we may take for granted, are recognized by your child as a gift from someone who cares.
Health and Education Sponsor: For $30 each month, you'll provide school fees and supplies, uniforms, dental check ups and medical care for a child. Your gift will offer a child the way out of the only life their family has known. Generations will live better lives because of you.
Important Information on Allocation of Gifts: Because all GGM children live in the same house, we must love and care for them equally. Until all our children are sponsored, your gift is pooled together with other sponsor donations to provide for all our children's needs.
Sponsors have an amazing opportunity to build a special bond with their child through prayer, letters, photos, birthday cards, and more. Correspondence may be sent directly to the India address on our 'Contact' tab with your child's name on the envelope. Small gifts are a blessing to the children. It is always our hope that you will visit GGM to experience the blessings your sponsorship brings to your child. The children are very much aware that loving Christians a world away are responsible for their care at the Home; they pray for you daily and cherish your communication. Be blessed to know you changed a child’s future into eternity for only a $1 a day. How great is our God! Special Giving Opportunities: All kids love a celebration and so birthdays and Christmas at the Children's Home are a special celebration time. It is our custom to honor birthdays once each month with a cake and gift and Christmas is, of course, a joyous celebration of our Savior's birth and the children look forward to a small gift. Gifts are most often desparately needed clothes or shoes. We prayerfully ask you to help make these gifts possible with a one time gift of $30 for either a birthday or Christmas gift.
